Welcome to Checkered Flag Sim Racing Forum
Congratulations to entering Checkered Flag Sim Racing Forum. We used to be a Sim Racing forum/League, we closed the doors at the end of 2005 for Sim league racing. Many members disbanded, went their own ways, or to other leagues. Ricky #57 has been when this was a "league", that has won more championships than Dale Earnhardt Sr. He captured 8 championships since 2002, in Grand National, Cup, TPTCC, and last but not least in our final year as defending GNS Championshis sim racing.  Presently a few of us race at www.canamracing.orgThis is by no means a plug for you to run over there to race, but it gives you a direction to where you can go to race, if you would like. | Cars of Tomorrow MOD for rFactor released. |

 RPM-3D, Inc. with help from friends and Sim Factory, LLC released the FIRST EVER "Car Of Tomorrow" Beta Mod for the RFactor simulation platform today August 22nd 2006. While this mod is currently in BETA form, its making history by becoming not only the first "Car of Tomorrow" based Mod, but also having the first "COT" 3D Body Model outside of NASCAR's R & D Center. "Its been a long time coming", said Justin Jacobs, Owner of RPM-3D, Inc. "I am glad to see that its finally getting to where it is supposed to be, in the hands of the community." To the knowledge of RPM-3D, Inc. this is one of the first Mods, or games actually Pre-Dating Stock Car Racing before the actual cars are "Racing" on the tracks. "We know its not going to be perfect, its a BETA, and the first Mod of any type RPM-3D, Inc. has attempted". "We are excited about this launch, and hope the community enjoys it, even though it may not be the best mod, with the communities help it will get better". While this is only the first MOD for any game from RPM-3D, Inc. its not the last.. be on the lookout for more updates to the COT MOD as well as other MODS from the same company that does graphics and paint scheme designs for the Real Stock Car Racing World.
